This was a startling announcement because things like this do not happen to one of the luckiest and most fun loving groups I have known.
We were drafted or somehow wound up in the Air force during the Vietnam war and we all wound up being posted to Madrid.
Bob's theory was that the commies had to be fought everywhere and our job was to fight those bastards in Spain. We did our best and even today Spain is free from the binds of Communism.
I would like this to be an open forum where people stationed in Spain in the mid 70's can post pictures and articles.
I hope to see our companions take an active role in contacting others to share their thoughts, memories and pictures.
